Centuries of cricket, and 2026 was the first chance that women had to (literally) carve their name into history.

Sky commissioned a documentary going behind the scenes of the first women’s test match at Lords. I wanted to make something that played with the tension of invisibility vs visibility: on the field, the athletes were competing to get their names on the honour’s board and be remembered for ever. Off the field, there was a team of people also making history, but invisibly.
